For the past seven decades, Friday Night is Music Night has been a staple of BBC Radio and recently embarked on a new chapter, moving to Radio 3 in April 2024.
As part of the programme’s relaunch, Katie Derham hosts a special concert at Alexandra Palace where she’s joined by tenor Wynne Evans and violinist Aleksy Semenenko to celebrate the legacy of the much-loved concert series.
Music Night from Alexandra Palace will air on BBC Four on Sunday 26th May at 7.30pm as part of the Inside Classical series.
