Zachary is a London-born actor who grew up in Singapore. After completing compulsory military service, he returned to London to train at Mountview on the BA Acting course. He is considerably happier now that he is out of the jungle, and is even known to also sing and dance from time to time.
Zachary is currently in rehearsals for Aladdin at Chelmsford Theatre, having spent much of the year performing in Storehouse (Sage & Jester). He has just returned from Singapore, where he was part of Kimberley Akimbo for Pangdemonium. Other work with Pangdemonium includes Dear Evan Hansen, Spring Awakening, The Full Monty and The Son, for which he was honoured to be nominated for Best Actor at the Straits Times Life Theatre Awards.
Other stage credits include Aladdin (Assembly Halls, Tunbridge Wells), Julie: The Musical (The Other Palace), Snow White (Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds) and Macbeth (Singapore Repertory Theatre). He has also played lead roles in several TV productions, such as Super4orce (Monochromatic Pictures) and Me, Myself and Issac (Papahan Films).
In his late teens, Zachary hosted his own Disney Channel show alongside his brother, in Zack and Xander Can! (Disney Channel Asia). He hopes to work with his brother again, especially because, post-puberty, he is confident that he is now “the sexy one”.
