Vivek Sharma is a writer-performer/actor, having trained on the BA Acting (Collaborative and Devised Theatre) course at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. They are also a skilled singer, deviser, and improviser.

Vivek’s professional stage debut was playing the lead role in the new musical Trump L’oeil Upstairs at the Gatehouse.

As a writer and theatre-maker, Vivek is interested in creating stories that explore themes of identity; Vivek frequently draws on their own experiences as a Non-Binary, Gay South-Asian. Vivek is particularly interested in telling stories about the intersection of identities, and the specific experiences that can arise from the clash of living with different marginalised identities.

Aside from this, they are a big lover of Pop Divas and their biggest fear in life is that they will never see Beyonce live in concert. Vivek is unashamedly bitter and resentful of anyone who saw the Renaissance World Tour, and their mission in life is to make that everyone else’s problem.
