Sarah Gosling is a presenter and broadcaster, brimming with knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the latest music releases, trends and breakthrough artists.

Her unrelenting energy and enthusiasm burst onto the airwaves in 2022 as she began spearheading her own weekend show on Radio X as well as presenting the station’s Chilled, Early Morning and Breakfast slots. She also presented BBC Music Introducing South West where she carefully curated her show to bring her audience the latest and greatest new music releases.

Masterfully blurring the line between specialist and personality driven broadcasting, Sarah was chosen by Radio 1 to take over the Future Artists shows in December 2020 as part of the station’s new talent showcase. She has also developed the Collaborator Generator (based on her Introducing SW feature Radio Artist Collaborator) which has become a regular feature of the Radio 1 Introducing show. Her other cover work includes the Hype Chart on Radio 1 and Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music. She has also appeared on BBC Radio 4 Introducing does Front Row.

With her finger firmly on the pulse of the most recent trends and breakthroughs Sarah is the type of friend we all love having – she always has brilliant new recommendations for books, albums, podcasts or TV shows at her fingertips, ready for us to devour. To the left here you can find a list of things that are bringing her joy right now including a special playlist packed with new artists and a few old favourites.

Outside of broadcasting Sarah is a Patron of the Music Venue Trust, helping to safeguard struggling grassroots venues across the country, writes culture-based pieces for the likes of The Guardian, Clash Magazine and Little White Lies and hosts live events including stages at Glastonbury and Boardmasters Festival and Comic Relief.

In May of 2020 Sarah teamed up with fellow broadcaster and pal Becky Hand to create Calm Down Dear, a podcast centering on, quite simply, enthusiasm.
