Rosanna Lockwood is a leading International presenter, who made her name on her own show with “Prime Time with Rosanna Lockwood” on TalkTV in the UK and followed up with extensive anchoring work for major news networks across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including CNBC, as well as hosting and moderating international conferences and events for COP, the World Economic Forum and LEAP. Currently based in Dubai, Rosanna travels widely for broadcast and live event projects.
Her career includes specialisms in finance and business news, being at the forefront of the rise of opinion-led broadcasting in Britain. During her time with TalkTV, Rosanna also became Piers Morgan’s trusted stand-in for his flagship debate show 'Piers Morgan Uncensored’, authoritively navigating challenging and often controversial topics with a diverse line-up of opinionated guests. Prior to this, Rosanna anchored Squawk Box and Street Signs programming in both London and Singapore for CNBC International, alongside providing European markets reporting for CNBC U.S., MSNBC and the wider NBC network. She has also presented long-form episodes of CNBC’s The Edge and Inside E-Commerce. Her core topics include economics, geopolitics, sustainability and energy.
Rosanna qualified as a journalist with a BJTC-accredited postgraduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the London College of Communication in 2013, and then worked as a radio reporter for the BBC and LBC, and as a television producer for Bloomberg and ITN in the UK. In 2015, she moved to Dubai, where she covered Middle East stock markets for Reuters and developed a career as a host and moderator for live events.
Rosanna has interviewed world leaders, central bank governors, and CEOs, and her prowess in the field of business and finance has made her a popular MC, chairperson, and panel moderator, for live events around the world. She has filmed and hosted projects in conjunction with the UN’s Climate Change Conference (COP), and the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Rosanna’s experience and expertise in live television news means that she is used to working against tight deadlines and handling unplanned developments in high-pressure environments. Organisers trust her to confidently steer their events and to accurately respond to the needs of their audiences, while being friendly and easy to work with.
