Francesca D’Souza is an actor & singer and can currently be seen in hit Sky Arts series Mary & George as Alexandra.

She is a graduate of LAMDA where she most played Thersites in Troilus & Cressida (dir. Nick Bagnall), Bosola in Duchess of Malfi, Lady Margaret in Richard III and Romeo in Romeo & Juliet. Credits outside of LAMDA include, Elly in Sunday on the Rocks (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Lady Nijo in Top Girls (Jacksons Lane), Roderigo in Othello (The Cockpit),  Xanthias in The Frogs (Stockwell Playhouse).

Additionally, Francesca is a singer with an impressive lower range, and as a writer she has started performing her “luminous” and “electrifying” WIP debut piece Cilla Black is F*cking Colourblind to wonderful audience reactions.

Francesca has just finished a 5* run of The Play’s the Thing with Happy Cannibals at The White Bear. REVIEW: The Play’s The Thing She is also working on her second solo show ‘How to Create a Life’, a verbatim piece that looks to challenge our ideas about fertility, parenthood, and self worth.
