Ben is a writer-director, who has already received huge praise for his work in theatre, winning the Young Director’s award at Cannes Lion and Best Play at the Adelaide Fringe Festival for his immigration comedy, Angry Young Man.

Ben was writer-practitioner at the Donmar Warehouse, as well as being the Artistic Director for the award-winning MahWaff Theatre Company. He recently finished directing The Billie Holiday Story at Charing Cross Theatre, and was also Associate Director on Shrek the Musical.

He has previously worked with the likes of Michael Grandage on Tom Stoppard’s translation of Ivanov at the Donmar Warehouse, and with Paul Miller and Nicholas Hytner on the UK tour and West End transfer of The History Boys.
