Simon Jack is a financial journalist and broadcaster, who in 2016 was appointed the BBC’s Business Editor. He often presents BBC Radio 4’s flagship Today programme on a Saturday.
Previously he was the Business and Economics Presenter on the Today Programme and the face of BBC Breakfast’s business news.
He is a regular on the One, Six and Ten O’Clock News and also presents the popular Good Bad Billionaire podcast on BBC Sounds.
In 2015, Simon filmed a special edition of Panorama for BBC One, in which he investigated the circumstances surrounding his father’s death, exploring why more middle-aged men kill themselves than any other group.
Prior to entering the world of newscasting, Simon spent ten years in commercial and investment banking.
He has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
He’s married with 2 children and lives in West London.
