Philippa Carson has most recently been part of Jack and the Beanstalk at Watford Palace Theatre and plays Susan in episodes 3 and 4 of The Reckoning on BBC iPlayer.

Actor, comedian and singer Philippa worked as an Irish language radio presenter in Dublin before landing the lead role of Alex in Irish feature film, Midnight Man (Cassian Elwes). She then trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

She can also be seen as a flirty green alien chatting up Ant and Dec in ITV’s Men in Brown. Other screen credits include Trying (Apple TV), Marriage (BBC), Anti Matter (Kaleidoscope) and a whole host of short films.

Other theatre work includes playing Buttons in Cinderella for Oxford Playhouse, Snow White for Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds and renowned musical satire Newsrevue (Ed Fringe & Arts Theatre West End).

She has been an improviser many years, working with various improv groups including Bumper Blyton. She writes and performs comedy with her sketch group Just These Please, known for their viral videos with over 70 million views and over 100 thousand followers online, along with 5* sell out runs in Edinburgh and at the Soho Theatre.
