Nicki Chapman has joined Magic Radio as the new host of Mellow Magic!
From January 6th 2025, you’ll be able to listen to Nicki present the iconic evening show on Monday’s to Thursday’s from 8pm.
Known to the nation as the face of BBC One’s Escape to the Country and RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Nicki is making the exciting move to Magic Radio after many wonderful years presenting at BBC Radio 2. As well as Mellow Magic, she will also host a series of music specials and long-form interviews across the year for the station.
Nicki’s memoir, So Tell Me What You Want, published in the summer of 2024 by Little, Brown and Hachette, became an Amazon Number 1 Bestseller within its first week, praised for lifting the lid on her fascinating career in the nineties and noughties music scene, where Nicki was one of the most influential music publicists, overseeing the career of music giants such as The Spice Girls, Prince, Take That, Amy Winehouse and David Bowie, to name a few.
Nicki said: “I’m honoured to be presenting Mellow Magic at the start of next year – it’s such an iconic show & brand.
