Fred is an Olivier Award winning performer. He is an experienced actor and puppeteer, and is an associate artist with Gyre and Gimble.

His theatre work includes Life of Pi (for which he won the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor) at the Schoenfeld Theatre, A.R.T., and the Wyndham’s Theatre following its opening at the Sheffield Crucible Theatre. Fred has also been seen in Ocean at the end of the Lane (National Theatre); Dido and Aeneas (Bodø Concert Hall, Norway); Peter Pan and Running Wild (both Regents Park Open Air Theatre); The Hartlepool Monkey (UK Tour);  The Tempest (Petersfield Shakespeare Festival Open Air) and Rattigan’s Nijinsky (Chichester Festival Theatre).

Once a member of Chichester Festival Youth Theatre, Fred’s credits with CFYT include Peter Pan; A Christmas Carol; Running Wild; The Hundred and One Dalmatians; The Witches; The Lion The Witch and The

Wardrobe; Noah, The Firework Makers Daughter; and The Snow Queen.

His screen work includes Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared; Jurassic World: Dominion; and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

Fred is also highly experienced in developing, workshopping and scratching new projects and productions.
